We were engaged to create a landscape of ‘coming home’ which would extend toward this architecturally designed home. The house itself has incorporated design features which draw from the ever inspiring Australian Bush ranges, this same approach was injected into our creation of the garden. A tin roof and rustic fencing serve as a backdrop which enhances the unique textures of our native plant range. Working in close collaboration with the client, the garden incorporates permaculture design principles, creating a cyclical approach to the design and process of building this space.
To fully embrace the ethos of this family home, a vital component of our brief was to ensure the design and correct implementation of a custom built drainage system.
This verge garden is a heartfelt tribute to the client’s creative origins.
